The top-of-the-table Ligue 1 meeting attracted a turnout of over 55,000 at the Parc OL. The match saw the largest Ligue 1 crowd of Week 14, beating out competition from both Nice-Bastia (20,856) and Nantes-Lille (18,125).

The Parc OL occupies two of the top three places in terms of crowd sizes this season, with the derby (second, with 57,050 spectators) and then this match against PSG (third, with 55,107).
