The OL women's team will play their final away game of the calendar year on Sunday against promoted Issy, who have slipped into the relegation zone.
The year isn't over yet for the OL Women, but the First Division leaders will make their final journey for 2012 to Issy, before playing host to Yzeure the following weekend. While Patrice Lair's players already have a seven-point lead over PSG, it's almost time to take stock of the season so far and every possible point is, of course, welcome.
However, the accounts for 2012 are quite straightforward: the Ol Women haven't fallen to a single defeat on the road. Only Turbine Potsdam managed the feat of securing a draw - 0-0 - with invicible Lyonnaises. That was on April 22, 2012, in the return leg of the Champions League semi-finals, but OL had already all but sewn up qualification for the final with a 5-1 win at Gerland in the first leg.
From Saint-Etienne to Issy-les-Moulineaux, taking in Munich, Moscow and Tokyo, Sonia Bompastor and her teammates have travelled across - and conquered - France, Europe and the world in 2012. It's hard to imagine OL allowing this record to be broken away to promoted side Issy, who have won just a single match since the beginning of the season.
