Finish the year in style

The OL Women will wrap up a scintillating 2012 on Saturday night 918:00 CET) with the visit of Yzeure to the Plaine des Jeux.

This Saturday night, the OL Women will finally be on holidays after a very busy yet perfectly executed first half of the season. At 18:00, on field number 10 at the Plaine des Jeux de Gerland, they will welcome Yzeure, currently placed sixth in the Women's First Division. This final match of the calendar year is actually the first match of the second half of the season, meaning that Patrice Lair's players have already taken on these opponents. That was back on September 23, in Week 2, when OL romped home to an 8-0 win.

So there shouldn't be too much tension in Saturday's match, even though it could see OL close out 2012 with an incredible record - unbeaten in any match in any competitions - before taking a ten-day break. A training camp will then take place in Lunel, near Montpellier, from December 26 to 30. Wendie Renard, Elsie Bussaglia and Amel Majri will be unavailable for the clash.
