Kim Källström discovers Tola Vologe for the first time and tells us what he thinks as well as his joy at signing for Lyon and his footballing vision…

Your Olympique Lyonnais’ apprenticeship continues... After Tignes, now Tola Vologe…
Yes, and it’s good to finally discover the training complex. After a very tough week in Tignes, it’s really good to return to Lyon, get to know the citry and look for a place to sleep…

How do you feel at Lyon?
I’m a little tired, but I think that’s normal. I’m delighted to be here. I’m really enjoying being part of the squad because they’re a great bunch. It’s an amazing team, we’ve worked really, really hard, but always with a smile.

You give the impression that you fitted into the side very quickly and in the friendly match, it looked as though you’d been a Lyon player for years…
Yeah, for all of one week (laughs). But you know, football is just football. There’s no secret. Once you get on the field, everyone has to take on their responsibilities. For me, I’ve got certain qualities and I play a certain way and I feel good when it goes well. Everyone has also been a great help.

What’s the biggest difference between Lyon and Rennes?
Everything. Everything is a little bit better. On the field and off it, you can just feel that Lyon is a bigger club than Rennes. That changes everything. Here they expect more of you, but they give you more as well. I’m just happy to be here.

You will play in the next friendly match against Charleroi where the level will get a little bit better…
Yes, that’s how it goes. Each week we have to step up another level. I hope we play well again, just like we did against Grenoble.
