Still 90 minutes and a little injury time before the winter break. We'll soon know who will be able to enjoy their holidays looking forward to a second half of the season full of ambition. We'll also know the sides that will be worrying about their top flight survival... and there could be a lot of them with just six points separating eighth and 19th.

These final 90 minutes of 2011 will also decide who finishes Ligue 1 autumn champion. It will be played out between PSG, Montpellier, LOSC and OL. The defending champions are the only one of the four to be playing at home: they host the OGCN are themselves are looking to break clear of the drop zone. PSG can expect a huge battle against St-Etienne. Les Verts are one of the form sides of the competition.

Can Montpellier bounce back after taking just one point from a possible six? Against promoted Evian-TG, who need points, it may be a difficult match. Nancy are finally out of the relegation zone after a first away win of the season, but can they go on with it against OM on Tuesday?

Rennes need to lift their heads against a Bordeaux side starting to turn their season around. The Brittany outfit need to stop the rot if they want to figure in the leading places come May. Sochaux – Ajaccio? Sochaux lack consistency... Ajaccio have just won their second game o the season.

Lorient and Caen have both been dropping point in recent weeks and have the chance to win some back. Dijon travel to AJA: both teams sitting on 18 points, one above the bottom three... Enough said! And finally the TFC are still near the top of the table. They take on draw specialists Brest, looking for an early Christmas present, whereas Les Brestois are another team in desperate search of points to climb away from the danger zone.
