EDERSON, victim of a violent collision with Dejan LOVREN this Saturday in Genk, underwent an MRI scan on Monday which revealed a complete rupture of the posterior cruciate ligament and a sprained medial ligament in his left knee. Reeducation will begin as soon as possible but no surgery is planned, allowing for a gradual recovery of 2 to 3 months.
For his part, Dejan LOVREN who has a big bruise on his right quadriceps should resume training this weekend.
The examinations passed today by the Bosnian international showed a detachment of the fascia of his right quadriceps. His downtime is estimated at 2 to 3 weeks.
Yoann Gourcuff's rehabilitation is continuing and the favorable diagnostic to his ankle allows us to be optimistic. The club in consultation with the player and the medical experts decided to undertake a new scan this week in order to confirm this progression.
