2006 was rich in emotions. The quarter final against AC Milan, the fifth league title and the World Cup. Players, staff and doctors give us their best memories for the year and their hopes for the year ahead. Loïc Rémy...

Loïc Rémy has enjoyed a fairytale start to the season. Today, he is one of the professional group at OL, whereas at the start of the season he was preparing with Tignes. Two goals in friendly matches against Salonique and Gueugnon along good performances in the reserves propelled him all the way to the field at Gerland to contest the Lyon derby with ASSE. “When you make your pro debut, you just panic. You don’t know what to do with yourself. You try to manage the stress and the crowd, because you’re scared of letting the fans down.”
In extra time in the round of 16 against PSG, Loïc launched himself to send an Anthony Réveillère cross towards Sylvain Wiltord, who scored. “My favourite memory is the decisive pass I made in the Coupe de la Ligue against PSG.”
The joy of scoring hides another instinct. “In 2007, I would wish to score a goal, I’ve been trying since my first match. But you could just as easily wish for me to develop my game and show the qualities I have and which brought me to this team.”
