After being given the weekend off, Les Lyonnais, excepting those away on international duty, were back in training on Monday at the club's Tola Vologe training complex...
Five days before the match at home to Rennes, the squad was meeting up at 15:30 for a training session based on passing and teamwork.
The players began with three laps of the pitch. A good warm-up was needed at Tola-Vologe after a couple of days off and the group then knocked some balls around before doing some stretching. Les Lyonnais then worked through several possession drills in front of 20-odd supporters.
Lisandro Lopez and Clément Grenier took part in the entire session. Both seem to be getting back to their best after lengthy lay offs. Importantly, Michel Bastos kicked a ball for the first time and took part in three-quarters of training, after injuring his knee against Sochaux.
Dejan Lovren, also suffering with a knee injury, came to watch his teammates but did not take part in training.
Next training is scheduled for 10:30 on Tuesday morning.
