Four match days were completed in August before this week’s mini-break for two rounds of international matches. Certain Ligue 1 coaches have already rung the changes within their squads… others less so …

368 players have disputed the 40 Ligue 1 matches so far this season, but only 174 have played in all four rounds and only 84 have played every minute of every match. Monaco have used the most playersof any team (22) ahead of Lille (21), Nantes (20), Troyes (20), OL (20), PSG (19), Rennes (19), Lens (19), Sedan (18), VA (18), Lorient (18), Bordeaux (18), Le Mans (18), Sochaux (18), ASSE (17), Auxerre (17), Nice (17), Nancy (17). Marseille and Toulouse have used just 16 players each.

12 players from Marseille have played in every match, 11at Nice and Valenciennes, 10 at Lille, Toulouse, LeMans and Saint-Etienne … 6 players from PSG and Troyes have played every minute of every match, 5 at Lille, Sedan, Monaco, Bordeaux and St-Etienne…

The coaches of Nantes, Lorient, Lille, Nancy and ASSE have introduced their three substitutes four times. Sedan, Auxerre, OM, VA, Monaco, Toulouse, Le Mans, Nice, Lens, Troyes, Sochaux and OL, three times. PSG, Rennes, Bordeaux twice.
PSG and Bordeaux have twice used just two subs, Sedan, Auxerre, Marseille, Valenciennes, Rennes, Monaco, Toulouse, Le Mans, Nice, Lens, Troyes, Sochaux and OL have once chosen to make just two substitutions. Rennes is the only team to have once chosen to make just one sub.

Rool has received four yellow cards in his four games this season. Bernardi, Gakpe, Leko, Mathieu, S. Keita have all received three yellow cards in three matches…

In terms of crowds: OM – Rennes attracted the biggest crowd of the season to date with 55,711 spectators at the StadeVélodrome.
