Tonight, in the OLTV studios, the birth of OL Fondation – a business foundation partnership comprising Accor, Cegid Group, Pathé and Providis Logistique - was announced.

Created for 5 years, OL Fondation will work in the domains of integration through sport, education, support to people ill or in hospital and through the support of amateur sports.
The foundation has a budget of €845,000 over 5 years, “but we could soon be talking about €2m,” confided Jean-Michel Aulas who couldn’t hide his “great satisfaction and joy in being able to participate with a view to bringing the benefits of his talents, which are no longer confined to the football field, as well as his generosity, creativity and imagination, to the aid of those in need”>

Sonny Anderson was designated as the foundation’s president, Jérôme Seydoux as vice-president and Laurent Arnaud as secretary-general. “For mine, it’s a source of great honour and pride,” confirmed Sonny Anderson. “Just like when I was a footballer, I’ll be on the field, ready to listen and to help. We will give our time and our celebrity to make progress in sporting education for young people”.

The creation of OL Fondation continues the policy of patronage that OL has effected for several years as well as its partnerships with associations such as Sport dans la Ville, Handicap International, Docteur Clown, Huntington Avenir, Asup Brésil and even Terr’Active.
