Pauleta and OL

Paris-SG owe a lot to their Portuguese goal machine, Pedro Pauleta, even though he hasn't enjoyed the best of success against OL since arriving in France...

With Bordeaux, the Eagle of Açores never scored in three trips to the Stade Gerland, for three straight losses. With PSG, things have gone a little better. In three more visits, he has registerd one win (2004-05), 1 draw (2003-04) and one loss (2005-06). He scored in the 1-1 draw in 2003-04.

And his record isn't much better when he was at home atBordeaux or in Paris: 1 win (1-0) and the winning goal in 2003-04 ; 2 draws and three defeats without scoring. And a qualification on penalties in the Coupe de la Ligue with Bordeaux in 2001-02.

For the record: two goals in 13 matches (2 wins and 1 qualification, 3 draws and 7 defeats). He has, however, scored 124 goals in Ligue 1, more than any other striker currently in action in the French top flight.
