A look at the injury situation...the match against Rennes...the ambitions before the winter break...were the subjects discussed by the OL coach at the press conference...

What doe sthe injury situation look like?
« Toulalan has started working on the bike. He should start running next week. Clerc is back doing pysical work, which is going well. Gonalons will be back in training with the squad next week. Gomis took a knock in Florence. We’ll see how he is on Saturday. Bodmer trained with the sqaud. I’ll see if he plays with the reserves this week-end. Réveillère is ready to play ».

How do you see the game against Rennes going?
« First of all, I don’t believe in the law of series. Rennes have a quality side. In Gyna, they ave a striker who has made the difference this season. He is pacy and can break through back-lines. Their side is a mixture of technique and strength. They are outsiders for the title, this is going to be a very important match ».

"I want to see my side play as they did in the second half against Fiorentina"

How do you feel about these four matches without success?
« I’m concentrate on the forthcoming match. What interests me? That the keep respond present mentally, thaat they continue to progress and maintain a certain level of play. I want to see my side play as they did in the second half against Fiorentina and get better. We were too naïve against Grenoble to be good all the time against Fiorentina. In Italy we lifted our play as the match went on. It is imortant that we build on our investment in this match ».

Is the result more important than the manner?
« Is it a principle of gaining good results that you have to do it in style? Afterwards there is the content of the match with or without the result. We are looking for quality play, good performances. Everyting is essential. We want to be a complete side. The atmosphere in the dressing room is good. The squad is focused, as they should be before a match. We will have to show that on the field on Sunday ».

Have you set any objectives for the run in to the winter break?
« Not really. If we could be in top spot all the better. We have a good card to play before the break … But we aren’t thinking about the match against Bordeaux just yet.»
