Olympique Lyonnais is delighted to announce that the club has agreed terms with Guingamp for the transfer of striker Claudio Beauvue.

Claudio Beauvue will sign a four-year contract with OL, until 30 June 2019, once he has successfully passed his medical examination early next week.

Fifth top scorer with 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season, and the third-best Frenchman behind Alexandre Lacazette and André-Pierre Gignac, Claudio Beauvue scored 27 goals in all competitions last term, including five in the Europa League.

With the signatures of Jérémy Morel and Claudio Beauvue, and the return from long-term injuries of Gueïda Fofana and Clément Grenier, Olympique Lyonnais has fulfilled the majority of its summer mercato ambitions, while conserving its young academy graduates, including Clément Grenier, who has extended his contract through to 30 June 2018; and anticipating the arrival, for this season, or next, of another central defender.
