On Saturday December 1, Rangers notched a 2-0 home victory over Kilmarnock thanks to strikes from Darcheville and Whittaker. The former Bordeaux hitman left the filed after half an hour; he underwent an MRI that revealed an ischial muscle strain that has left him uncertain to appear in the Champions League match against OL.

The Rangers line-up: McGregor, Hutton, Cuellar, Weir, Whittaker, Naismith, Ferguson, Thomson, McCulloch, Darcheville (Adam 32’), Boyd.

Rangers still occupy 2nd place on the Scottish league table, one point behind Celtic.

In order to better prepare for their Champions League meeting with OL, Rangers asked for, and received, a postponement of their league game against Gretna, which had initially been set for Sunday December9.
OL on the other hand will travel to Caen on Saturday December 8 at 17:10 in round 17 of the Ligue 1 season.
