Reactions after the game between OL and OM.

Jérémy Toulalan
Physically, we weren’t exactly fresh. We started well enough, but after 15 minutes, we started to suffer. I think we dominated the game overall, even if we didn’t have a great amount of chances. They didn’t either though, so I think the game was well balanced, but difficult to play in. Generally, matches like that are won through set pieces. That didn’t work out tonight. They were one or two occasions that we could have played out better. But on the whole we can saw that this is a good draw, as it is a match that we could easily have lost. We still have a three point lead and our objective is to be at the top going into the winter break and have a solid base to work from in January. We have one game to go against Caen, maybe it will be the most difficult as it is just before the holidays. We will have to stay focused for this game.

Claude Puel
It was a very tight match. We tried hard, especially in the first half, but OM kept us quiet with some rough tackling that was at times close to the edge, especially on Ederson. But it’s true that we didn’t really spark into life tonight. Our performance was interesting and we were very solid. Both team’s finished very tired and neutralised each other as neither side wanted to let anything go. Ederson put in a great performance. Benzema, made some good individual efforts in the first half. But we weren’t able to give them enough support. It’s a shame as in the first half we had a few chances. When we recuperated the ball we lacked a certain amount of control as we were trying to go forward too fast. Afterwards the match became too tight and it would have needed a free-kick to open the scoring and the game. I have nothing to reproach of my players as they all finished the match very tired. We tried to open things up and play but were just missing that little extra something tonight. Marseille didn’t let go at all and stopped us from having any space to play in. We’re disappointed as we were playing at home. It was a draw, we’ll have to go and make the difference away to Marseille.

Both my ankles are very sore! There were so many fouls tonight that it was incredibly difficult to create any kind of chances. I think there should have been at least one red card. But that’s how things go, it’s over. I’m not going to comment on the referee’s decisions. It was a tough game with a lot of duels. We didn’t shirk. We took a point from the match and we’ll have to win against Caen to finish of the year in style and give ourselves a good base for January. I feel that the staff and my team-mates have faith in me. We you go out onto the pitch you want to give all you have for the team. I’m pleased with my performances but I’m aware that in order to progress I need to be more realistic and decisive for the team. I will continue to work on that.

Hugo Lloris
It was really quite a tight game. Defensively, we were quite solid and didn’t give away any chances. Marseille came here to take a point. They stayed behind the ball and we weren’t able to break through and create any opportunities. I’m more tired psychologically than physically this evening. The accumulation of matches is something new for me. After the third or fourth game my level of concentration has a tendency to drop.
