Check out who said what in the OLTV Bus after Sunday's 2-1 loss to Sochaux.
We actually started pretty well. In terms of desire, the players were ready. But it got more and more difficult as the minutes past because we were giving far too much ball away. We didn't make our possession count. When we lose, we try and find explications for the loss. It's true that certain players are tired and that translates to mistakes on the pitch. This result puts the brakes on us a little which is disappointing. They created a few dangerous situations in front of our goal and we were often stretched. You have to congratulate this Sochaux side who did what they had to do. Now we have to roll up our sleeves and work hard for the next series of matches that's just around the corner.
We didn't play the way we wanted to. We don't have any excuses. You have to take your hat off to Sochaux, who stopped us playing the ball out. Winning would have seen us climb back into the top three. We are struggling a little away from home. We're conceding too many goals from set pieces. We need to recover and recharge the batteries now and knuckle down to work.
