After Olympique Lyonnais’ 3-2 win over Charleroi, Gérard Houllier gave us his analysis of the match, along with Kim Källström and Jérémy Toulalan, two of the goalscorers.

Gérard Houllier: We saw some very good things in atack, a little less good in defence but in the end the result was a satisfying one. Against a good team, we are continuing to get stronger, always with an eye on the Trophée des Champions. The new players impressed once again. Källström and Toulalan both scored. As for Squillaci, he was very important and often decisive in defence.
I also through the new youngster Loïc Remy in at the deep end and he didn’t disappoint.

Kim Källström: We played 45 very good minutes. For my part, I had the good fortune and pleasure to score my first Lyon goal. I have very quickly found my understanding with the squad.

Jérémy Toulalan: It’s always important when you arrive at anew club to score quickly. It’s great for me, all the more because it doesn’t happen very often. I’m very satisfied with this debut performance and I think it bodes well for the future.
