The transfer window is now closed...until the winter window. Here is a, non-exhaustive, list of the final movements in the 20 clubs of the Ligue 1...

What sticks out in our memories of the last few days of August in terms of transfers? Almost certainly that of Gourcuff to OL, who also obtained the loan signing of the Senegalese player Pape Diakhaté from Dynamo Kiev. Tafer left the club, heading to Toulouse for a loan period. BORDEAUX who let Gourcuff go, but also Cavenaghi, Sertic and Traoré, signed Ben Khafallah and Maazou. Gyan is no longer at Rennes. OM strengthened their line-up with Gignac and Rémy, having lost Ben Arfa after Niang.

PSG registered the arrival of the former Valenciennes player Tiené. At Lille, Plestan left for Schalke, one of OL’s European opponents, with Rozehnal, the former PSG player, arriving at the club. MONACO brought in the Nancy player Malonga and let Gudjohnsen leave. NICE replaced Rémy with Ljuboja and brought in the Bordeaux player Traoré on loan. With Gignac leaving, Toulouse brought in Tafer and the young Paraguayen player Santander

BREST strengthened their defensive sector with Baysse from Sedan, Benalouane headed off to Saint-Etienne. Auxerre brought in Sammaritano. LENS have loaned the Bordeaux player Sertic…  ARLES-AVIGNON continued their bulk buying with Pavon, the former Real Madrid player and Aparecido Da Silva, a young Brazilian striker …

If certain players had not played for their clubs before joining another French club, others like Gourcuff, Rémy, Ben Khafallah, Gignac had done…

Finally, other transfers could still go ahead with players who are free from any contract. We have in mind François Clerc, or Laurent Bonnart…
