This is the tenth meeting between these two sides. The first meeting at the Stade François-Coty was back in 1967-68 in a match that finished 2-2.

This Saturday will be third time these two sides have met this season in all competitions: once in the league at the Stade Gerland and once in the last 32 of the Coupe de France and this weekend. In the league OL won 3-2 in Round 11. In the Cup, they eliminated the Corsicans after extra-time.

The record so far: Four wins for Ajaccio, two for OL and three draws.
