Update on Lyon's summer signings

OL signed four new players over the summer. After a third of the season, how have Diarra, Squillaci, Källström and Toulalan been going?

The former Nantes midfielder Toulalan has played 1,401 minutes out of a possible 1,710. Starting 15 times and coming off the bench on four occasions, he has played in 18 of OL’s 19 competitive matches so far. Only against Sochaux did he stay on the bench for the full 90 minutes. He has been replaced just once, against Lille. He has taken 18 shots at goal... 0 goals; 1 yellow card in Bucharest. He is the most used player by Gérard Houllier this season.

The former Monaco stopper Squillaci has played 1,260 minutes, or 14 whole games. He has never come off the bench and has never been replaced when in the starting line-up. He has played the last eight games with six shots at goal for two goals: a header against Nantes and a right-foot volley against Valenciennes. 1 yellow card against PSG in the Coupe de la Ligue. He is in 3rd place in terms of playing time.

Former Rennes midfielder Källström has played 1,059 minutes. He has started 11 matches and been replaced in three. He has been on the bench on eight other occasions and always been introduced. He is the only player, along with Benzema, to have played in every single match to date. He has taken 23 shots… 2 goals (Dynamo Kiev and Marseille); 2 yellow cards including one in the Champions League. He is currently in 9th place in the playing time stakes.

Former Lens midfielder Alou Diarra is the least used of the four recruits with 326 minutes of pitch time.He has started four games and been replaced in three; He has been on the bench on ten occasions and come on in three of them. 3 shots… 0 goals. 0 yellow cards. He is 22nd out of 24 in terms of playing time.
