The OL squad had its second training session of the week after the one the day before. Preparations for the match against Rennes on Sunday night intensified. After 20 minutes or so doing athletic work, the Lyon players headed for one of Tola Vologe's other pitches, where three activity sessions awaited them: keep-ball, a match on a half-pitch and reduced-size field with four goals. But there was only one theme: playing passing football hard and fast and maintaining the intensity. It was an exhausting hour-and-a-half session, with Nabil Fekir playing as an extra man, participating fully.
Mathieu Valbuena, on the other hand, didn't pull on his boots. Suffering from a thigh injury for the last two weeks, the France international contented himself with a jogging session alongside physiotherapist Ange-François Costella. His recovery continues.
