Lyon coach Bruno Genesio spoke to OL TV after his side's 2-1 win over Toulouse:
You must be happy to finish the year with a win…
"Yes, we are very satisfied to end 2017 with this victory. We know it's never easy to win in Toulouse. This is the third time in a row that we leave here with the three points and we had to dig deep and fight for it. Our first half was pretty good and if we'd managed to make the game safe, our second half wouldn't have been so tough."
Are you satisfied with 41 points in the standings?
"We have to congratulate the players for this tally. They worked very well. This first half of the season is worthy of the club's great years. The players can now head off on a deserved break. But the staff still have a few more days work before we can relax."
How was the match for you in the stands?
"It's even harder than sitting on the bench, even if you have a good overall view of the match. I was in permanent contact with the bench. I can tell you I was very happy when we got that second goal. I was on the phone with Claudio Caçapa who made changes and rectified things for me."
