Kilian Pagliuca is an important member of the Lyon U19 team. He proved it again over the last two weeks of competition. He played all 180 minutes. Kept quiet in the 1-1 away to Nîmes, the Swiss striker netted a double in OL's 4-0 win over Cannes last Saturday. After opening the scoring with a penalty, his second goal was a great solo effort, dribbling three players before poking the ball home under the 'keeper. They were his fourth and fifth goals of the season, all five scored in the last three matches.
Ulrik Jenssen partnered Lindsay Rose central defence for the reserves last time out. The Norwegian played a big role in keeping a fourth clean sheet of the season in the 1-0 win away to Chasselay. Off this weekend, he and his teammates take on third-placed Martigues next Saturday to continue their charge towards the top 3 in Group C of CFA.
Christopher Martins Pereira had a week off from the reserves, so the Luxembourg international dropped down to the give the U19s a hand last weekend. In the starting line-up for the 4-0 win over Cannes, he didn't score and was replaced by Andrey just ten minutes from the end.
Zhang Xiu Wei and Kim Shin, played no part in competition over the last two weeks. Both players were getting over the long voyages and qualification for the U19 Asian Cup. Zhang reached the quarter-finals with China, while Kim Shin and Korea Republic failed to qualify from the group stage.
