All the post-match reactions

Miralem Pjanic
It's very disappointing, we are well aware of that. We started badly. We did not play high up the pitch like we should have. The coach gave us a dressing down at half-time. Straight from the restart we were better, we closed them down high up the field. We had to go through down the flanks, overlapping and crossing. We have to remain confident as we were on a good dynamic. We have gone five games without defeat and we must get over things because we have a match on Wednesday in the Coupe de la Ligue.

Michel Bastos
We wanted to continue our run of victories but did not. We could have come out with a win but only managed a point. We were not at our level in the first half. We are very disappointed. We will try to find out why we did not start the game as we should have. Even playing against the league’s bottom placed club we weren’t safe as Arles-Avignon put in a good performance. We mustn’t let our heads drop, we did not lose.

Pape Diakhaté
We only played one half today. We dropped back too much in the first half and let them play. Arles-Avignon have great qualities and they were on show. The teams that play against us always have more motivation than usual. Our start to the match was not professional. We knew this match would be a trap. It was more like a cup final in France than anything else but we were warned. Nevertheless we showed character.

Claude Puel
Looking at the game, Arles deserved their point, we have to admit that. We did not start the match well. We never managed to put in any quality play and follow it up. We changed formation at half time. The players were very tired and were not able to put in the necessary rhythm. We are disappointed because this is not a good result especially compared to the results of other teams. The aftermath of the Champions League is always very complicated. We play every three days and it is never easy. The championship is very long.
