The Olympique Lyonnais reserves recorded a 2-0 win over Sarre Union this weekend, in their final outing of the year.
CFA: OL 2 - 0 Sarre Union
Maxence Flachez and Gilles Rousset were expecting a reaction from their players and they got it. After last weekend's loss to Saint-Louis, the reserves produced a solid perfoemance to defeat struggling Sarre-Union, in front of a vocal crowd. The 2-0 victory was secured in the second half, after missing a host of chances in the opening period, including Pagliuca's effort against the crossbar.
Labidi opened the scoring in the 52nd minute with a diving header from Moufi's cross. 15 minutes later, Diakhaby headed home a corner from Cognat, making his first start for the reserves. 17-year-old Aouar, made his debut with the reserves. The game also saw pro Gueïda Fofana back on the pitch, playing an hour. All in all, plenty of reasons to be satisfied.
