The OL women finished off their second day of the training camp at the town hall of Saint-Malo, after two intensive training sessions.
"We Bretons are very proud of our region, and it's always a pleasure for us to get together". The sentence is signed by Camille Abily, a native of Rennes, and could have come from the mouth of any Breton. In Saint-Malo, the arrival of the vice-champions of Europe is seen as a real event. Between the two sessions of the day, a press conference was even held in honor of the three Bretons of the team: Camille Abily, Eugenie Le Sommer and Patrice Lair. "I love my region, the coastline is magnificent. Working conditions are excellent, the people who surround us very friendly and competent, I'm really happy to be here," said the OL coach with a palpable excitement, a little later in the afternoon at the reception his team at the Town Hall.
The day was almost perfect, without the dreaded rain. Only Lotta Schelin, victim of migraines, could not participate in the athletic session of the morning and work in front of goal in the afternoon. Elodie Thomis followed the work of her team mates from the stands of the Marville stadium, and appreciated the quality of Sandra Brétigny and Aurelie Kaci in front of goal. The keeper Sarah Bouhaddi even participated in the exercise as an attacker, after specific work in the morning alongside the fitness coach Toru. A Japanese intern almost happier than a Breton to be in Saint-Malo!
